PJ has had a bad two weeks! Last Tuesday we went to Urgent Care, and then onto the Emergency Room at the Hospital where they gave her meds, CT Scan, etc. Sent her home with antibiotic and said it was a sinus infection. Yesterday we were at different eye docs undergoing tons of repetitive tests, and ended up at Neuro-Opthamologist Clinic. The Retinologist there wanted her admitted to the Hospital ASAP, as they suspected a relapse of the MS. That was confirmed after an MRI and more testing. She is in the Banner Del E. Webb Hospital in Sun Valley West, AZ. They're giving her very high doses of intravenous steroids the next few days, so please pray for her! :) Thank you! DB
BEST part of this day was when the delivery man brought a great, fun balloon bouquet to the room from Dylan, Thatcher and Ivy.
Also our friends down here, John and Lorna, brought her a stuffed "Angry Bird" and a puppy to sleep with at night since she's HERE and I am THERE for now......

Rock Capital of the WORLD!!!!

Tomorrow (Saturday) we are going to drive over to Quartzsite, AZ, known as the ROCK CAPITAL OF THE WORLD !!! Wow!

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches made ... check.
Lemonade ... check.
Coffee cups ready to be filled ... check.
Knitting bag for PJ's traveling entertainment ... check.
Camera ... check.

Will post pics later of this adventure! Also during our trip we're going to meander over to Blythe, CA and check out the RV Parks for our "February" destination.

Emergency Room ........

My ongoing headache had gotten so severe I not only had intermittent loss of my right eyesight, but it was constant!! And the pain was debilitating. So this morning DB (angel nurse of my life) drove me to a wonderful Urgent Care facility here in the Phoenix area. They advised me to immediately go to the Emergency Room at the hospital, which we did.

Four hour$$$ and a CT scan later, they determined it is a SINUS INFECTION causing all this misery!!!!

We are thanking the Lord for hearing our prayers and that my condition can be treated with a few meds.

THANK YOU all for your concern, love, being in our lives and your prayers.

Next time I'll post something more upbeat. Promise!! :)

Monkeys Monkeys Monkeys!!!!

LOOK! We made it! They didn't forget us!!! We have our baby with us too, if you look at the photo closely.

This morning I said to DB, "Baby...... please, please hear me on this........ I LOVE IT HERE!!!!!!!!!"

We arrived at HAPPY TRAILS in Surprise AZ !!!! It is sooooo beautiful!! I can't believe it!




This is in our front "yard." There are orange, lemon, grapefruit trees all over the place!!! This may call for some late-night strolls............. hehehehe

DINNER IN BENSON WITH FRIENDS......

Tonight we had a "dinner date" with our dear friends, John and Kathy Huggins. If you want to have a very entertaining hour, listen to their "radio show," online at http://livingthervdream.podomatic.com/
Their show is very entertaining, educational, informative and inspirational. They truly ARE "Living the RV Dream," and were instrumental in us getting 'on the road in an RV' as quickly as we did.

We went to a local Benson restaurant, "Palatianos." If you get to Benson give it a try. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent and it's very reasonably priced.

Day after tomorrow we leave here and go to Happy Trails in northwest Phoenix. It's so crazy to know we are leaving HERE, which makes us feel like saying BOO, yet we are so anxious to get to Happy Trails and see some more dear friends, John and Lorna.

THIS is the beauty of the RV life we've discovered so far. New and exciting experiences DAILY!

Tuesday I am going to Tucson with some of the ladies here in the RV Park. Can't wait!!! We're going to Joann's Fabrics first and then to lunch at some cool lunch/salad/buffet place.

DB is going over to Willcox AZ to have lunch with a dear, life-long buddy, Gary Terbel.

Temps are to be near 80* !!

Love to you all. We miss everyone terribly. Some days are much worse than others. Grateful for the good temperatures and nice people around us. Helps to "cope." :)

Five sleeps til we go to Surprise, AZ! Anxious to go a new place!!!

It was a FUN day today!!!

We went to church at Sierra Vista Calvary Chapel and LOVED it!!!! The pastor was very good, very nice, and told us it's a 1,200 member church. WOW!

The weather today has been near 80* and when we returned to Benson, we sat outside with some of the friends we've made and just yakked for an hour in the sunshine.

We are thanking God for His many blessings to us ... already in 2012!!!
