We are now thinking that Kerrville TX, near San Antonio, will be too far away from the family we'd like to visit in the Ft. Worth area, so looking at the map for possible RV Parks nearer the Big D.
Also contemplating NM as a possible landing pad in December.
This is all part of the "fun" of this lifestyle I guess! Can't hardly think about being so far away from our SD family over Christmas, so my mind is foggy about all of this. AND we have a little time yet.
That, together with DB's scheduled surgery on his wrist one week from today. Carpal tunnel and they are removing a bone! eek. Sounds scary and they said his recovery is a good 10-12 weeks. I'll be busy with nurse duty for awhile. :)
We've already made some GREAT friends though, out here at Hart Ranch, and look forward to all the new people we're going to be meeting. God bless everyone and thanks for reading our blog!
Hi there almost travelers!! I would start to make reservations very soon as the better parks in the snowbird belt fill up quickly. After Dec., you should be locked in or you may be disappointed. Use the web and look at park reviews with Allstays. We are using that app more and more and we find it quite helpful for making decisions about RV parks based on other camper's comments.
